Pet Mealtime Reaction

Seedance 2.0

The specific, unmistakable reaction of a pet at mealtime — the format that sells pet food better than any nutrition claim.

What this prompt does

Built for pet food and treat brands — captures the moment that actually drives purchase decisions for pet owners.

Best for

Pet food and treats — the single highest-converting reaction shot in the category.

Example render coming soon — this prompt is actively used in client work; a sample clip will be added here once we can share one.
▸ THE FULL PROMPT
handheld pet mealtime sequence, low-angle framing at bowl height, natural home setting (kitchen floor, real mess acceptable)

subject: a dog or cat, natural unscripted behavior, owner's hands visible only briefly setting the bowl down

camera: low, close to the bowl, handheld with natural movement following the animal's motion — no drone-smooth stabilization

(0-2s) bowl set down into frame by owner's hands, pulled back out of frame immediately
(2-4s) animal enters frame at speed, clear anticipation in body language before reaching the bowl — ears up, tail motion, no hesitation
(4-10s) animal eating, camera holds close on the specific enthusiasm — fast eating, looking up briefly then straight back down, the visible "loves this" behavior that's impossible to fake convincingly
(10-13s) a brief pause where the animal looks up at the owner/camera mid-meal, then returns to eating
(13-15s) bowl empty or nearly empty, animal looks up satisfied, small close on the empty bowl as proof

lighting: natural home lighting, kitchen floor level, no studio setup
camera: handheld, low and close, slight natural shake, real-feeling not polished
audio: real eating sounds, a tail thump, ambient kitchen noise, no music — the authenticity of this format depends entirely on the sound being real
grain: naturalistic, slightly desaturated in the way real kitchen floor lighting reads

How to use it

  1. Specify the animal precisely: breed, size and coat. Owners notice, and it lets you run versions for different pet audiences.
  2. Show your actual food in the bowl, with the kibble shape and colour taken from a reference photo.
  3. Keep the camera at bowl height throughout, as the prompt sets it. The low angle is what makes it feel like a phone on the floor.
  4. End on the empty bowl. It is the proof the whole clip builds towards.

Where it goes wrong

Don't let the clip imply health claims, such as vet-approved or a coat improvement, that your packaging can't back up.
